Stocks in Focus: GIFT Nifty traded up 67 points or 0.34% at 19,809, indicating a positive opening for domestic indices NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex on Tuesday. Previously, on Monday,the NSE Nifty 50 dropped 37.55 points or 0.19% to settle at 19,694.25, while the BSE Sensex dropped 139.58 points or 0.21% to 65,655.15.

Tata Power:

Tata Power Renewable Energy has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing a 1.4-gigawatt capacity in group captive projects over the past seven months. This achievement is attributed to the successful signing of power delivery agreements with various industries across segments.

Adani Enterprises:

Adani Enterprises Ltd.’s subsidiary, Mumbai Travel Retail Pvt., has taken a strategic step by incorporating its wholly-owned subsidiary, MTRPL Macau Ltd. The move aims to establish tobacco shops at Macau International Airport, adding a new dimension to the company’s diverse portfolio.

State Bank Of India:

The government has appointed Vinay Tonse as the Managing Director of State Bank of India, extending his tenure until November 30, 2025.

Tech Mahindra:

IRCTC:

IRCTC has received Railway Ministry permission for long-term tenders spanning seven years through the clustering of trains. Additionally, the Rail Neer plant has commenced commercial production with a daily capacity of 72,000 liters.

Concor:

Container Corp. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indraprastha Gas to explore the establishment of LNG and LCNG infrastructure at its terminals. The collaboration aims to investigate the feasibility of transporting LNG through railway rakes from terminals near sea ports like Dahej.

Manappuram Finance:

The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a monetary penalty of Rs 42.78 lakh on Manappuram Finance for non-compliance with certain provisions of the ‘NBFCs – Systemically Important Non-Deposit taking Company and Deposit taking Company (Reserve Bank) Directions, 2016.’
